White Tea with Orange Blossom
Enjoy until mid-afternoon
Duration: 6 minutes
Temperature: 70°C
2g in 200 ml of water
Description
Delicately flavoured with Orange Blossom, this highly-sophisticated, full-bodied tea is made from the lovely “Pai Mu Tan” variety of tea, meaning “white peony” in Chinese.
Formerly reserved for China’s Emperors, this white tea is unique because of how it is produced, as the leaves are neither rolled nor stewed but are allowed to dry naturally in order to preserve their quality and flavour.
Harvested up in the high mountains of China, this tea is floral with sweet, refreshing and delicate notes. Infused with the natural flavour of orange blossom, this drink is a delicious way to unwind and free your mind.
Often enjoyed in China for its thirst-quenching properties, it should be sipped slowly like it’s a way of life and so it can enchant you with its subtlety and soothing taste.

A precious plucking
Thés de La Pagode® respects an age-old tradition to ensure that all the benefits of tea are preserved. Indeed, the quality and fragrance of a tea are determined, among other things, by the type of leaf picked. In spring, in the gardens of Thés de la Pagode®, the "Imperial Plucking" is practiced: the pluckers select only the bud ("Pekoe" in Mandarin) and the first leaf. Another technique used is "fine picking". In this case, the pickers remove the bud and the first two leaves.
