Description
Respiration Zen is a herbal tea that combines 8 ingredients for a flavour that is both fresh and powerful, while providing a beneficial effect on the respiratory tracts.
From the first few sips, this infusion of thyme and ginger will start to show its positive effect on your respiration, thanks to its menthol and camphor components. Its scent is very fresh right from the outset, thanks to the combination of pennyroyal, ginger, tulsi and eucalyptus. Over time, the thyme and cardamom provide a warmer flavour. All of this is softened by the spiced and woody notes of Ceylon cinnamon and clove. The progression in the mouth is therefore very elegant, with the different notes that unveil themselves at different times.
The key ingredient in our Respiration Zen infusion is tulsi. Also known as sacred basil, it is considered in India to be the "Queen of Plants", on account of its purifying and soothing properties. It supports respiratory function.
The other ingredients that make up the Respiration Zen infusion are also renowned for their beneficial effect on the respiratory tract:
- Cardamom: antibacterial
- Ceylon cinnamon: antioxidant effects and supports the oral mucosa.
- Clove: antioxidant effects and supports the oral mucosa.
- Pennyroyal: refreshing
This herbal tea with thyme, ginger, and cinnamon helps maintain Zen Respiration.

Manufacturing secrets
A precious plucking
Thés de La Pagode® respects an age-old tradition to ensure that all the benefits of tea are preserved. Indeed, the quality and fragrance of a tea are determined, among other things, by the type of leaf picked. In spring, in the gardens of Thés de la Pagode®, the "Imperial Plucking" is practiced: the pluckers select only the bud ("Pekoe" in Mandarin) and the first leaf. Another technique used is "fine picking". In this case, the pickers remove the bud and the first two leaves.
