Description

This Green Tea with Fruits of the Forest is a combined blend of three organic green teas from China –  Sencha, Gunpowder and Chun Mee. Each has its own properties for a bewitching bouquet of flavours. Just the ticket for summer! Sencha is rich in antioxidants. Gunpowder, meanwhile, has thirst-quenching virtues with sweet, rounded notes. Last but not least, the Chun Mee, which means “old man's eyebrow” due to the shape of its leaves, adds a slightly sweet, sour note that blends perfectly with a selection of red fruit.

This delicious beverage produces fresh, tangy notes of red berries, combining the following four fruits of the forest – raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and redcurrant.

Green Tea with Fruits of the Forest is sure to become popular with you at tea time, marrying wonderfully with cakes and pastries!

Ingredients

Organic Chinese green tea, natural flavours (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, redcurrant)

Manufacturing secrets

A precious plucking

Thés de La Pagode® respects an age-old tradition to ensure that all the benefits of tea are preserved. Indeed, the quality and fragrance of a tea are determined, among other things, by the type of leaf picked. In spring, in the gardens of Thés de la Pagode®, the "Imperial Plucking" is practiced: the pluckers select only the bud ("Pekoe" in Mandarin) and the first leaf. Another technique used is "fine picking". In this case, the pickers remove the bud and the first two leaves.
