Green tea
The different colours of tea all come from the tea plant or "Chinese camellia". The tea leaves are then processed in different ways, which determine the colour of the tea in our cup. Within hours of being picked, the leaves of organic green teas are steamed for a few seconds to stop any enzyme production that would trigger oxidation (thus differentiating green tea from black tea), then withered, hand-rolled and finally dried.
